CONSULTATIONS
- Do you want to get involved in the decisions which affect carers in the city?
- Do you want the opportunity to express your views?
Would you like to be part of a local, regional or national survey of carers?
Carers are needed to be involved in all of these things. Many organisations who provide services that carers use (e.g. Health and Social Services) are trying to involve and consult with carers.
Why are they doing this?
They are trying to find out what you think of their services and if you have any suggestions for how they could be improved in the future.
What does this mean to me?
You may already have been asked to fill in a questionnaire or maybe you know someone who represents carers views on a committee. There are many different types of meetings, workshops and surveys that you could be involved in, from filling in a ‘one-off' questionnaire to representing carers' views on a policy group board.
The Centre has produced a leaflet assisting carers on becoming more involved in consultation events and is called Getting More Involved
If you have compliment, concern or issues surrounding caring you wish to raise then please feel free to contact us using the Contact Form or emailing us at forum@carerscentrehull.org.uk
