CARERS' INITIATIVES FUND
Got an idea for a group activity in Hull, but not got the funds to be able make the idea reality?
Why not apply to the Carers' Initiative Fund.
What is the fund?
The Carers' Initiative Fund was set up to promote informal local initiatives to support Hull carers.
How much can be paid?
The fund can offer up to £1000 per organisation/group, or a maximum of £100 per caring family if applying for holiday breaks. The money may come from one or several applications made to the fund.
What can the money be used for?
It can be used to meet the expenses of a small local scheme, project or holiday break that benefits carers in Hull. The fund covers: Learning, Socialising, Information, Respite, Communication, Health, Developing new projects and Holiday breaks.

When do the Panel meet?
The Panel are expected to meet several times a year and have agreed the following dates:
- 15th September 2010
- 17th November 2010
It would be appreciated that applications be received prior to the event/project occuring and in ample time for a Panel meeting.
